Even though I'm not really a chess player, I love ornate chess sets. Especially ones with a special theme where the pieces have original designs.

So I saw this and immediately fell in love. A chess set of tiny planters that you can customise with your own choice of herbs and cute succulents? I want one! A 3D-printed set that XYZWorkshop created for a design competition.

Weekend DIY - Fabric Floral Rings

One of my best friends from school, who I've known since we were 12, is getting married this Sunday =D!! I'll be away on bridesmaid duty. Let's hope it's not going to be too hot...

To round off this month's wedding related DIY's, here is a cute idea. Turn little fabric flowers into lovely floral ring bands. All you need is ribbon, fabric flowers, and a glue gun!

When the weather gets colder and drier, I tend to find myself constantly covered in moisturising creams and balms or else my skin becomes really dry very quickly. I love pretty much all of Hayao Miyasaki-san's animations but I think My Neighbour Totoro is my favourite. How could you not fall in love with a big furry forest spirit and a cat bus?
